Our Client is a South African process equipment sales and supply company which offers customized and innovative process solutions for the Mining, Mineral Processing and related industries.

Are you ready to bridge the gap between technical process design and client facing business development?
In this role, the successful applicant will be responsible for evaluating client enquiries, executing technical process designs, and compiling writing commercial tenders.
Duties & Responsibilities
Bids and Tenders - compile detailed commercial bidsand technical proposals that match client-issued Requests for Quotations (RFQs).
Relationship Building - maintain continuous communicaiton within mining house project managers and procurement teams to build brand trust.
Enquiry Assessment - as as the first line of evaluation to determine technical viability and raw material processing requirements from clients.
Design and Scaling - create process flow diagrams (PDFs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) from lab tests to full plant scale.
Equipment Sizing - execute calculations to select and size processing units.
Submission Follow -up - negotiate terms, handle design changes, and clarify technical specifications with the client post-submission.
Project Handover - formally package drawings, data sheets and client criteria to transfer the won order over to the internal project execution and mechanical teams.
Desired Experience & Qualification
B.Eng. (Chemical Engineering)
A minimum of 5 years relevant experience in process design, proposals engineering, or technical sales within the mining industry.
Solid understanding of flow sheets and instrumentation diagrams,metallurgical processes and process engineering - not negotiable.
Strong problem solving abilities and a troubleshooting mindset.
Ability to manage multiple tenders simultaneously under tight deadline.
Advanced computer literacy requirements: MS Office.
A valid unendorsed driver's licence with own vehicle.
Willingness to travel to mine sites for commissioning.
Package & Remuneration
R40k - R80k CTC dependant on experience.
