VACANY FOR A RECEPTIONIST

Marsh Memorial Homes – Rondebosch, Cape Town

Marsh Memorial Homes, a Child and Youth Care Centre based in Rondebosch, Cape Town, invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Receptionist .

The Receptionist is often the first point of contact with our organisation and will be responsible for providing a professional, welcoming and efficient reception and switchboard service, together with general administrative support.

Minimum Requirements

Applicants must have:

· Grade 12.

· At least two years' experience as a Receptionist and/or Switchboard Operator.

· Excellent spoken and written English communication skills.

· Strong administrative and organisational skills.

· Excellent computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

· Experience in operating a switchboard/PABX system.

· Good numeracy skills.

· Experience in handling petty cash.

· Ability to use general office equipment and services, including photocopying, scanning, printing and binding.

· Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels.
