Minimum Requirements
* Valid Electrician Trade Test Certificate (Red Seal preferred) * Minimum 5 years proven experience in Medium Voltage (MV) electrical networks * Experience working on municipal electrical infrastructure projects * Competent in MV fault finding, testing, repairs, and maintenance * Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical infrastructure and associated equipment * Valid drivers licence (Code B or higher) * Willing to work overtime, weekends, after-hours, and emergency call-outs * Must reside in Johannesburg or surrounding areas
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out maintenance and repairs on MV electrical infrastructure * Perform MV fault finding, testing, and repairs * Install, maintain, and replace electrical equipment and associated infrastructure * Respond to planned and emergency maintenance call-outs * Complete job cards, inspection reports, and maintenance documentation accurately * Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety requirements, municipal standards, and company procedures
Advantageous
* Experience in streetlight maintenance and repairs * Experience working on municipal maintenance contracts * Valid Working at Heights, Fall Protection, and First Aid certifications
