Marsh Memorial Homes has a vacancy for a Cleaner.
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking individual to assist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly environment for the children in our care.
Minimum Requirements
• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification. • At least two (2) years’ proven working experience in a similar position. • Knowledge of cleaning materials, chemicals and equipment, eg vacuum cleaners. • Ability to work independently, use initiative and manage time effectively. • Physically fit and able to move normal-sized furniture and use a step-ladder safely. • Good personal hygiene, attention to detail and a pleasant manner. • Ability to communicate in English.
Key Responsibilities
• Perform general cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing. • Ensure rooms and facilities are cleaned and maintained to the required standard. • Report any damages, defects or maintenance concerns. • Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and consumables. • Handle reasonable requests professionally. • Adhere to health and safety requirements.
