Detail: Requirements: Grade 12 (Matric). Qualified Artisan with an N4 or equivalent trade qualification as a Fitter, Millwright, or Electrician. Minimum of 5 years' experience in an automated factory/manufacturing environment. Thorough knowledge of manufacturing processes and the ability to operate high-tech machinery. Sound understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS). Good knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Act. Ability to troubleshoot, maintain, and optimise automated production equipment. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Good communication and teamwork skills. Responsibilities: Set up, operate, and maintain Plate Enveloping, COS, Shorts Testing, TTP Welding, Heat Sealing, Leak Testing, and Date Coding machines according to supplier operating manuals. Perform mould changes and machine start-ups. Set up and maintain automatic and semi-automatic Post Burner equipment. Ensure production equipment consistently delivers quality products at the required production rates. Take corrective action when quality or production standards are not achieved. Keep all assembly line equipment clean, safe, and in good working order. Maintain cooling water systems and extraction systems to ensure optimal performance. Complete maintenance job cards, production logs, attribute charts, and SPC records accurately. Communicate professionally with suppliers, customers, management, colleagues, and other stakeholders. Perform all duties in accordance with customer requirements, company quality standards, and health and safety regulations.
