• Oversee the operations, maintenance, and performance of key precinct infrastructure, including water, boreholes, sewer, stormwater, roads, electrical, fibre networks and telecommunication manholes, precinct and development metering, public environment, open spaces and trails • Manage utility connections for all new developments applications and physical connections and handover • Responsible for approving all construction activities within the precinct (via Contractors Protocol) ensuring co-ordination of activities, ensuring protection of all existing services and infrastructure • Serve as the primary technical liaison with developers and contractors regarding connections • Oversee the maintenance of the public environment, including open spaces, landscaping, sidewalks, roads, cleaning services, security and surveillance systems • Lead and manage the Operations and Maintenance team, as well as service contractors and ensuring adherence to SLAs • Develop and implement proactive asset management, maintenance and renewal programmes • Manage budgets, performance reporting, and stakeholder coordination across the three reporting entities of the Management Associations Essentials:
• A qualified Built Environment professional (Degree or Diploma in civil or electrical, engineering, quantity surveying, property / facilities management or similar) • Minimum 3 years relevant experience in utility management, civil infrastructure design and / or construction, infrastructure maintenance, or large-scale precinct /estate management • A hands-on approach with emphasis on working on-site • Ability to execute, be proactive and able to take initiative • Financial and budgeting capabilities • Strong technical knowledge of civil and electrical infrastructure • Proven experience in land development processes • Demonstrated success leading technical operations and maintenance teams • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills • Ability to manage diverse team(s) and contractors / suppliers • Valid drivers license and ability to be based on site Correspondence will only be conducted with short listed candidates.
