We are a growing retail property asset management company based in Tokai, Cape Town looking for a Utilities Administrator with relevant work experience to join our Utilities team at our Head Office.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Monthly utility billing processes.
- Utility reconciliations and validation of billing information.
- Analysing electricity, water and sewer consumption.
- Investigating utility billing discrepancies and resolving queries.
- Capturing and maintaining tenant, property and meter information.
- Monitoring meter communications and reporting faults where required.
- Assisting with tariff updates and billing calculations.
- Preparing utility reports and supporting documentation.
- Assisting with utility audits and data verification.
- Liaising with municipalities, landlords, tenants and service providers.
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting documentation.
- Providing general administrative support to the Utilities Manager
- Alternative energy and water solutions:
- Provide administrative support to the Utilities Manager, National Operations Manager and the developments team during evaluation of our systems as well as during implementing projects.
- Assist with integrating these systems into our utility management processes
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Previous utilities administration experience required.
- Thorough understanding of metering systems and utility management.
- Excellent command of English (written and verbal).
- High attention to detail, analytical thinker who enjoys working with numbers and data.
- Value accuracy and integrity.
- Pragmatic, adaptable and solutions-driven approach to work.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently and within in a team.
- Self-motivated
- Proficiency in MS Outlook and Excel essential.
- Professional, well-organised, and dependable.
This position reports to: Utilities Manager
