User Support Technician

Stefanutti Stocks Coastal is seeking a User Support Technician to support end users with hardware, software and basic networking, as well as End User Administration across internal systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support for both hardware and software related issues. • Manage the configuration and operation of user-based IT Operating systems. • Daily monitoring of office / site IT environment for any security / usability concerns and resolve issues in an efficient manner. • Administer site-based IT infrastructure, including network, file shares, malware protection software and other ancillary processes. • Respond to and resolve to all helpdesk requests timeously. • Facilitating of upgrading of systems and processes as required for enhanced functionality security purposes. • Create and verify backups of data on a weekly basis. • Take ownership of IT Asset management and routinely maintain asset registers. • Familiarizing oneself with internal systems to provide first line support. • Conduct comprehensive ISO 27001 compliance audits. Minimum Requirements: Education :

• Grade 12 plus any IT related qualification
• A+ certification
• N+ certification
• ITIL Foundation (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) certification
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals (MS-900), will be an advantage
• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900), will be an advantage

Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Systems Administration Skills & Competencies:

• Microsoft 365 Administration • Azure AD/ Entra ID • Windows support • Knowledge of networking concepts • IT ticketing systems • Experience in ISO compliance • Remote desktop support systems Key Attributes:

• Based in New Germany, Pinetown, with regular travel to sites
• Must be able to work outside of operating hours when the need arises
• Must have own transport
