What you'll be trusted to own
- This isn't just about processing paperwork.
- It's about making sure every detail is right, every time — and that brokers and clients experience a seamless, professional service.
You'll
- Manage underwriting transactions across the full policy lifecycle, from new business to renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
- Process and validate risk and policy data with accuracy, ensuring system integrity and audit readiness.
- Issue policies, schedules, and endorsements within agreed service levels.
- Support underwriting decisions by analysing risk and claims information where required.
- Take ownership of the renewal cycle, ensuring timely follow-ups and completion.
- Act as a key point of contact for brokers and clients, resolving queries efficiently and professionally.
- Handle complaints and escalations in line with internal processes and customer fairness principles.
- Support reporting, portfolio administration, and quality assurance processes.
- Work closely with underwriting and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and service delivery
Required Knowledge and Experience
What you'll bring
- A reputation for precision, reliability, and getting the details right.
- 4 to 5 years' experience in underwriting administration or policy servicing.
- Strong understanding of underwriting processes, policy administration, and risk data handling.
- Experience working with brokers and managing stakeholder relationships.
- Exposure to trucking insurance products (advantageous).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume workloads.
- Confidence working across teams and handling multiple priorities.

Qualifications
- Matric (Grade 12)
- Insurance qualification or equivalent will be advantageous
