You’re commercially driven but technically credible, with the confidence to engage contractors, engineers and mining stakeholders. Relationship building comes naturally, yet you’re equally motivated by targets, new opportunities and solving complex customer challenges.
What you’ll be doing (and why you’ll enjoy it)
Taking ownership of an established customer portfolio, you’ll grow sales across mining, tunnelling and underground construction, with roughly 30% focused on new business development. You’ll provide technical advice on construction chemicals, concrete, shotcrete, anchoring and cementitious systems, conduct demonstrations and training, manage projects from specification through to order, maintain CRM activity and deliver accurate forecasts. You’ll enjoy combining technical problem-solving with commercial ownership and time in the field.
Where you’ll be doing it
Join an established international construction chemicals business with deep technical expertise in underground construction and a strong focus on research, innovation and specialist solutions. You’ll work closely with an experienced manager while spending most of your time visiting customers and projects across the region.
What you’ll need
A Chemical or Civil Engineering Diploma, or relevant NQF 5 tertiary qualification, plus 5-7 years’ technical sales experience within construction chemicals. Mining, tunnelling, shotcrete, concrete or grinding-aid exposure and established industry relationships will give you a strong advantage. Regular travel is essential.
