We are seeking a reliable and professional Unarmed Security Guard to protect people, property, and assets by maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Control access to premises by monitoring and screening visitors, staff, and contractors.
- Patrol designated areas and inspect buildings, gates, and equipment.
- Report suspicious activities, incidents, hazards, and security breaches.
- Maintain accurate occurrence books and incident reports.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, alarms, and security incidents.
- Conduct regular security checks and inspections.
- Ensure adherence to company safety and security procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a professional presence.
- Liaise with management, emergency services, and law enforcement when required.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
- Valid PSIRA registration (Grade C, B, or A as required).
- Minimum 1-2 years' security experience.
- Clear criminal record.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Physically fit and able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Reliable transport will be advantageous
