- Children's Ages: 8 years old Grade 2 – Boy
- More about him: He experiences some difficulty maintaining focus, although there is no formal neurodiverse diagnosis. She requires additional support with English, particularly reading comprehension, creative writing, spelling, and language development. In Mathematics, she would benefit from assistance with word problems, mathematical concepts, and applying her understanding to problem-solving tasks.
- Working hours: Monday – Wednesday 15:00 – 16:00
- School holiday hours: TBC
- Duties: Providing academic support and tutoring to a Grade 2 learner, with a focus on improving concentration, confidence, and foundational learning skills. Assisting with English, including reading, reading comprehension, spelling, creative writing, and language development, as well as Mathematics support with word problems, core concepts, and age-appropriate problem-solving skills. Using engaging and interactive teaching methods to maintain focus, reinforce classroom learning, encourage positive study habits, and support the learner's overall academic development and progress.
- Special Requirements: Someone patient and understanding. 25 years and older.
- Start Date and contract term: ASAP – permanent
- Salary: R300 per hour
All Au Pair Extraordinaire applicants must fill the following requirements:
- Must have at least 12 consecutive months of formal child caring experience, excluding work done for friends and family. This experience must be within the last 2 years.
- Must have their own, reliable car and at least 18 months driving experience.
- Must have at least 2 contactable childcare references.
- Must have a clear criminal record
- Must have a passion for children
- Must have Matric
- Must have a South African ID document.
