Our client in the Transport Industry requires the services of experienced and SETA-registered Truck Driver Trainer to join their team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key performance areas
- Conduct classroom and in cab training
- Prepare training schedules
- Provide input for the development of training material
- Provide coaching and mentoring
- Assisting with recruitment of driver learnership
- Assisting with “Driver of the Year” competitions
- Provide feedback to management on training/trainee performance
- Conduct performance assessments
- Conduct any ad hoc duties as required
Desired Experience & Qualification
The successful candidate must have
- Must have Matric and a relevant tertiary qualification will be advantageous
- Facilitator, assessor or moderator qualifications will be advantageous
- SETA/TETA registration will be advantageous
- Knowledge of DriveRisk and DriveCam system would be advantageous
- At least 3 years’ experience working in a commercial or corporate driving academy or similar role
- Must have excellent computer literacy – (Word, Outlook and Excel)
- Valid driver’s license (Code 14 with a valid PDP license)
- Must have good communication and people management skills
