Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team in the timber industry. This role is critical to ensuring Transportation of raw timber, processed wood products, and other materials, safe operation of vehicles, adherence to transportation regulations, and collaboration with warehouse and logistics teams to ensure timely and secure deliveries.

Duties & Responsibilities
Vehicle Operation : Safely operate company vehicles for the transportation of timber and related products.
Adhere to traffic rules and regulations, ensuring a safe and efficient driving experience.
- Loading and Unloading: Collaborate with warehouse staff to load timber products onto the vehicle securely.
Ensure proper securing of loads to prevent damage during transit.
- Route Planning : Plan and optimize delivery routes to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
Consider traffic conditions, delivery schedules, and customer requirements.
- Documentation : Verify and maintain accurate documentation for each delivery.
Confirm the completeness of delivery notes, and other relevant paperwork.
-Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs promptly to the warehouse manager.
-Communication: Maintain effective communication with warehouse personnel.
Report delays, issues, or changes in delivery schedules promptly.
Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines during all transportation activities.
Desired Experience & Qualification
-Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Valid PDP driver’s Licence. Previous experience as a driver, preferably in the timber or related industry.
-Ability to lift and move heavy timber products during loading and unloading.
