Triton Academy – Talent Pool for Future Learnership Opportunities Triton Academy is a QCTO/ TETA-accredited Skills Development Provider that offers Learnership programmes in Freight Handling and Truck Driving to both staff and unemployed learners. These programmes focus on developing industry and job-specific skills, empowering participants with the knowledge and competencies needed to excel in the field. Triton Academy provides these programmes in Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, Polokwane and can also assist customers wherever possible with the same Learnerships. Triton Academy is looking for motivated and committed individuals to join their 18-month Occupational Certificate: Truck Driver Learnership , aimed at empowering unemployed South African youth through structured training and hands-on experience within the logistics industry. Please note: This is not an immediate open position but rather an opportunity to be considered for future learnership intakes. RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensuring goods are correctly loaded, secured, and protected during transit Operating vehicles responsibly under varying road and weather conditions Delivering and collecting freight on time while maintaining service standards Reporting vehicle defects, incidents, or delays promptly to supervisors Performing ancillary duties and general housekeeping in the warehouse and yard Providing professional and courteous service when interacting with customers and colleagues Learning & Development: Structured theoretical training aligned with QCTO curriculum Workplace practical experience and mentorship Assessment preparation for final external examination
