An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Treasury Manager to join an established organisation on a month-to-month contract based in Mount Edgecombe, Durban. Duties & Responsibilities
The role requires a strong treasury professional with experience in cash flow and liquidity management, banking relationships, foreign exchange, investments, borrowings and financial risk management . Key Responsibilities:
- Manage cash flow, liquidity and working capital requirements
- Manage local and international banking relationships and facilities
- Oversee borrowings, investments and internal loans
- Manage foreign exchange and interest rate exposure, including hedging
- Monitor USD exposures and offshore cash flow requirements
- Ensure compliance with relevant banking and regulatory requirements
- Provide treasury expertise on financing and investment decisions
- Prepare treasury reports and provide support to senior management
- Manage and support a small treasury team
Minimum Requirements
- 3-year tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field
- 4 – 5 years’ relevant Treasury / Banking experience , ideally within a medium to large organisation
- Strong FX, cash flow, liquidity and risk management experience
- Proven experience managing banking relationships
- Strong reporting, analytical and administrative skills
- Confident engaging with senior management and key stakeholders
