- As a Travelling Parts Sales Representative at the VW Divisional Head Office, you will be responsible for promoting and selling automotive parts to dealerships and repair shops across various regions.
- The primary focus of this role is on building and maintaining client relationships, providing exceptional service, and driving sales growth within your territory.
- Key Responsibilities
Generate new business opportunities by identifying and targeting potential customers in assigned regions.
- Conduct regular visits to clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions related to automotive parts.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure timely delivery of parts to clients.
- Conduct product presentations and training sessions for clients to enhance their understanding of the parts offered.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and development.
- Prepare detailed sales reports and forecasts to track performance against targets.
- Attend industry events and trade shows to promote the brand and expand your network.
Requirements
- Proven track record in sales, preferably within the automotive or related industries.
- Strong understanding of automotive parts and components, with a focus on VW products preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
- Self-motivated and target-driven, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively within South Africa.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in managing accounts and developing sales strategies.
- Knowledge of CRM software and sales tracking tools.
- Relevant qualifications in sales, marketing, or automotive technology.
- Familiarity with the South African automotive market and regulatory environment.
