- 57 years' management experience within transport, warehousing, distribution, QSR or FMCG.
- Proven experience in:
- Shift management
- People management
- Disciplinary enquiries
- Health & Safety management
- Contingency planning
- Continuous improvement and best-practice implementation
- Multi-temperature transport operations
- Complex, multi-site and multi-disciplinary environments
- Experience managing large operations and multi-disciplinary teams.
- Experience in an organisation with 400+ employees will be advantageous.
- Grade 12 with Higher Grade Mathematics.
- Tertiary qualification in Transport or a related field is mandatory.
- Honours qualification would be advantageous.
- Strong computer literacy is required, including:
- MS Office particularly Advanced Exce
- PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and MS Project
- Advanced Warehouse Management System (WMS) experience
- Accounting software experience
- Experience with Microsoft Great Plains will be advantageous.
