A well-established transport company based in Phoenix Industrial Park is seeking a diligent, honest, reliable, and skilled Night Shift Fleet Controller to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring night-shift transport operations, ensuring that trucks and drivers are dispatched efficiently and that deliveries are executed safely, accurately, and on time. Key Responsibilities • Dispatch trucks and drivers according to the approved night-shift plan. • Allocate and manage drivers to ensure required service levels are consistently achieved. • Monitor and track fleet movements in real time. • Coordinate drivers and provide support in resolving operational issues. • Ensure the correct documentation is issued to the correct vehicle and driver. • Ensure the preload plan is fully executed. • Capture and maintain accurate customer and operational information. • Maintain effective communication with drivers, customers, and internal teams. • Ensure compliance with transport procedures, regulations, and company policies. • Proactively identify and resolve operational challenges during the night shift. • Maintain accurate documentation and records. Minimum Requirements • Grade 12 / Matric – Required • Minimum 3 years’ fleet controlling experience – Required • Valid Code 08 driver’s license – Required • Own reliable transport – Required • Experience and knowledge of the Port Booking System – Required • Navis experience – Required Skills & Attributes The ideal candidate should:
