Job Description

  • A leading specialist infrastructure advisory firm is seeking an experienced Infrastructure & Project Finance Advisor to join its Financial Advisory team in a senior role
  • The firm advises private and public sector clients on complex infrastructure, energy, transport, water and commercial development projects across South Africa and the broader African market.
  • This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced transaction professional looking to lead high-value project finance and infrastructure transactions while working closely with investors, lenders, developers and government stakeholders

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead infrastructure, project finance, PPP and corporate finance transactions from origination through to financial close
  • Advise clients on project structuring, feasibility, commercial viability and funding strategies
  • Develop and review financial models, feasibility studies, business cases and investment memoranda
  • Manage lender, investor and stakeholder relationships throughout the transaction process
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary advisory teams and oversee due diligence activities
  • Support capital raising, transaction negotiations and business development initiatives
  • Mentor junior team members and manage multiple projects simultaneously

Qualifications & Experience

  • Honours degree in Business Science, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, Financial Mathematics, or an Engineering degree with strong commercial experience
  • Minimum of seven years' experience in infrastructure, project finance, corporate finance, transaction advisory, private equity or project development
  • Proven experience leading complex transactions through to financial close
  • Strong financial modelling, analytical and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience working on infrastructure projects in South Africa and/or Africa
