Start free — we apply for you →- We are looking for a Trainee Merchandiser who is passionate about fashion and wants to build a career within clothing merchandising and manufacturing.
- You will work closely with an experienced team and gain practical exposure to product development, sampling, production, suppliers and client requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the merchandising team with daily administration.
- Assist with product development and sample tracking.
- Capture and maintain product information.
- Assist with costing and pricing administration.
- Follow up on samples, approvals and outstanding information.
- Assist with production tracking and timelines.
- Liaise with suppliers and factories as required.
- Maintain product and merchandising documentation.
- Assist with quality checks.
- Support client requirements and queries.
- Assist with fashion and trend research.
- Provide general support to the wider team.
Requirements
- Relevant Fashion, Clothing, Merchandising or related qualification advantageous.
- 0–1 year of relevant experience; graduates and candidates with internships/practical experience welcome.
- Strong interest in fashion and clothing.
- Good computer and Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong organisational and administration skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and develop.
- Ability to work well within a small team.
- Positive, proactive attitude.
