Reputable, medium sized accounting practise situated in Umhlanga, Durban seeks a trainee accountant to serve SAIPA articles.
Candidate must have completed an accounting degree (with accounting 3 and tax) or be at least half way through their degree.
Alternatively they can have the option to transfer SAIPA articles from another firm.
No previous work experience is required however 60% in maths core and accounting and a good tertiary academic record is required.
Duties & Responsibilities
We require a responsible and hard working Trainee Accountant to join our busy team.
Must be a team player with a "can do" attitude who can multi-task and meet deadlines
Excellent training will be provided.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Minimum 60% in matric for maths core and accounting
- Accounting degree with accounting 3 and tax or studying towards this qualification
- Good tertiary academic record
- No previous work experience is required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Professional attitude
- Team player
- Diligent, hardworking and accountable
