LDP Chartered Accountants and Auditors offers exciting opportunities for trainees completing their SAIPA articles or pursuing a CIMA designation . Based in Stellenbosch, our well-established audit, advisory, and tax firm is committed to developing skilled accounting professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment.
About the Role
As a trainee, you will gain hands-on experience in audit, accounting, and tax, supported by structured in-house and external training. You will be assessed and developed in the skills required to qualify as a Professional Accountant (PA(SA)) or Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) .
Trainees currently completing their articles in other provinces are welcome to apply for positions in the Western Cape. We will work with you to ensure a smooth transition should you take up a role here.
Requirements
- Currently completing SAIPA articles or pursuing CIMA
- SAIPA/CIMA-accredited degree
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Fluent in English (Afrikaans is an advantage)
- Proficient in relevant accounting software and computer systems
- Valid driver’s licence and own transport
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, including occasional overtime
- Professional and ethical conduct at all times
