• Grade 12 / Matric. • Valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle being driven. • Professional Driver's Permit (PrDP/PDP) where required for transporting guests. • Valid tourist guide qualification and registration where performing regulated tourist-guide duties. In South Africa, tourist guiding is regulated, and guides must complete recognised training and register with the relevant Provincial Registrar. • Valid First Aid certificate. • A recognised tourist-guiding qualification/training through an accredited provider. • Previous experience as a Tour Guide, Lodge Guide, Hotel Driver, Guest Relations Officer, Concierge or similar . • Previous experience within a 4/5-star hotel, boutique hotel, lodge or luxury tourism environment is highly advantageous. • Excellent knowledge of the local area and tourist attractions. • Excellent English communication skills; additional languages advantageous. • Clean driving record. • Good knowledge of vehicle safety and basic vehicle checks.
