Detail: This role suits a seasoned travel professional who knows the South African safari and lodge landscape inside out and can turn a client enquiry into a seamless, unforgettable itinerary. Core Criteria: Degree or Diploma in Travel and Tourism or a related field 3-5 years experience as a Tour Consultant in South Africa Extensive knowledge of South African properties, lodges and destinations Solid understanding of tour operations in South Africa, including planning and execution Excellent written and verbal English communication skills Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability and an independent work ethic Own transport required Proactive, with a positive and solutions-focused approach Candidate Responsibilities: Engage with clients via WhatsApp, email and phone to manage enquiries, bookings, itineraries and payments Prepare and review quotations, negotiate supplier rates and confirm accurate pricing and room configurations Coordinate reservations for accommodation, flights, vehicles and activities, confirming bookings and documenting client requests Prepare client briefings and verify daily movement files, ensuring bookings and supplier invoices are accurate Provide emergency assistance during client travel, manage complaints and refunds, and support the wider sales team with information Package Offer: This is a live-out position Meals and airtime provided 6-day work week: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, Saturday 9am to 1pm show more...
