- An established organisation within the automotive manufacturing sector is looking for an experienced and technically strong Toolsetter to join their production team.
- This opportunity is ideal for a hands-on individual with solid injection moulding and tooling experience who can ensure machines and moulds are set up correctly, production runs efficiently and quality standards are consistently maintained.
Key Responsibilities
- Set, change and maintain moulds on injection moulding machines
- Set and optimise machine parameters for efficient production
- Monitor production processes and ensure consistent product quality
- Identify and resolve tooling, machine and process-related issues
- Troubleshoot faults to minimise downtime and production losses
- Perform basic maintenance and assist with continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure all tooling and production activities comply with safety and operational procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Toolsetter within an injection moulding environment – essential
- Strong knowledge of injection moulding processes, tooling and machinery
- Proven fault-finding and technical problem-solving ability
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work shifts and overtime as required
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Hands-on approach with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment
