Skills automotive injection moulding lathes milling precision engineering toolmaker Detail: Duties: Maintain, repair, and service tools used in production. Set up and operate conventional lathes, milling machines, surface grinders. Interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and CAD files for tooling Conduct measurements and inspections using precision instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and CMMs. Troubleshoot tooling issues and perform root cause analysis to identify and correct problems. Collaborate with design, production, and maintenance teams to ensure tools meet production needs. Modify tooling for efficiency improvements and design enhancements. Maintain accurate records of tool maintenance and usage. Follow safety procedures and ensure all tools comply with health and safety Qualification: A relevant trade qualification in Toolmaking, Precision Engineering and/or related Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a toolmaker role. 3-5 Years Experience in a Toolmaker role. Requirements: Proficient in reading technical drawings. Skilled in the use of precision measuring instruments. Good computer skills. Good communication and time management skills.
