- Assist with the manufacture, maintenance and repair of tooling and dies.
- Gain hands-on experience with conventional and precision machining equipment.
- Assist with tool maintenance, adjustments and modifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Apply accurate measuring and inspection techniques.
- Assist experienced Toolmakers with tooling and production-related tasks.
- Follow all safety, quality and housekeeping requirements.
- Develop practical knowledge of manufacturing and toolroom processes.
Minimum requirements
- Toolmaking qualification or currently in the final year of Toolmaking studies .
- Newly qualified candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Basic knowledge of machining, tooling and engineering drawings.
- Ability to use precision measuring equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be committed to completing the learnership and gaining practical experience.
