Job Description

  • The Local Choice Head Office has an opportunity available for a TLC Masterdata Administrator. This role is responsible for all the administrative functions of the stock file masterdata and ensuring accuracy of the data.
  • The role is also responsible for accurately capturing product details on all channels to ensure high quality customer-facing product information online.

Minimum Requirements

Essential

  • Gr12/Matric or Senior Certificate
  • Minimum 0 – 1 years masterdata experience

Advantageous

  • Diploma in Marketing or relevant qualification
  • Experience in data capturing

Job function

Master Data Administration

  • Monitor the pricing data and ensure it is maintained and updated.
  • Resolve all discrepancies that appear with regards to pricing, promotions and other relevant cost-related aspects.
  • Administrate daily new listing and price changes.
  • Create stock codes for new online products and group all products accordingly.
  • Ensure no selling prices are below cost pricing.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining reliable, sustainable ecommerce masterdata.
  • Ensure that any promotions are listed and loaded in time before promotion starts as well as ensuring they end at specified time as per management requirements.
  • Accuracy capturing all product details on all channels.

Stakeholder Liaison

  • Ensure that all queries are responded to timeously.
  • Liaise with suppliers for all stakeholders on price updates.

General

  • Adhere to Dis-Chem Policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Adhere to Health and Safety rules and regulations.

  • Conveys ideas and facts in writing using language the reader will best understand.
  • Ensure products and services comply with customer requirements. Streamlines procedures based on customer feedback.
  • Demonstrate an underlying drive to ensure that quality is not compromised. It includes the identification and maintenance of standards to meet the needs of the company, together with a desire for accuracy and order.
  • Takes personal responsibility for the quality and timeliness of work, and achieves results with little oversight.
  • Computer Skills – Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
