Job Description
- Developing advanced VR/XR applications and immersive training experiences in Unity.
- Translating project and client requirements into appropriate technical requirements,
- Supporting the technical setup and initialisation of XR projects, including selecting appropriate development tools, frameworks, SDKs and technologies.
- Configuring and maintaining development environments, repositories, XR SDKs and build pipelines.
- Conducting technical feasibility assessments and proof-of-concepts
- Designing and developing immersive XR interactions, object behaviours, physics-based interactions, UI/UX systems and multimodal feedback.
- Creating intuitive and comfortable XR experiences
- Profiling and optimising applications across CPU, GPU, memory, assets, shaders, textures and runtime performance.
- Optimising code for maintainability, scalability and performance.
- Integrating and maintaining VR/AR SDKs and platform technologies.
- Reviewing code and providing technical guidance to other XR Developers.
- Supporting prototypes and experimentation with new technologies, tools, workflows and scalable XR product opportunities.
