Duties & Responsibilities
Job Description
- Maintain and support an existing Windows-based business application.
- Diagnose and fix bugs in C# and VB.NET code.
- Develop and enhance new functionality within the existing architecture.
- Write, modify, and optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, views, and related database objects.
- Investigate user-reported issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Assist with testing and deployment of application updates.
- Refactor and improve legacy code where appropriate without disrupting business operations.
- Document changes and contribute to technical knowledge sharing.
- Work directly with the senior developer to understand business processes and technical requirements.
- Participate in discussions on future improvements and modernization opportunities.

Qualifications
- Degree/Diploma
Skills
- 3 + years’ Full Stack Development experience
- Solid experience with C# (.NET Framework / .NET).
- Working knowledge of VB.NET and the ability to read and maintain existing VB.NET code.
- Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Good understanding of:
- Stored procedures
- Views
- Joins and query optimization
- Transactions and data integrity
- Experience maintaining or extending legacy applications.
- Familiarity with source control systems (Git or similar).
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug complex issues.
- Experience with Windows desktop applications (WinForms/WPF).
- Understanding of manufacturing, logistics, ERP, or operational business systems.
- Experience with reporting tools.
- Exposure to application modernization or migration projects.
