Start free — we apply for you →- A vacancy exists for a Theatre Administrator, based at Life West Coast Private Hospital, reporting to the Unit Manager, Sr. Beth Koekemoer. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and co-ordinating accurate preference cards to support and sustain a quality and efficient e-billing system.
Critical Outputs
- Achieve optimal system utilization on Impilo regarding the preference cards and trolleys.
- Develop and maintain sound relationships with internal customers to achieve co-operations and compliance with the audit process.
- Effective management of preference cards and templates surgical and anesthetic
- Edit, update or create new preference cards as required and obtain sign-off from relevant persons
- Load preference cards onto the system for the next day's theatre lists as well as for any emergency cases
- Effectively monitor Impilo Dashboard and action any errors
- Manual capturing of manual billing on Impilo stock and equipment
- Effective capturing of procedures and items required for the electronic theatre register and case management. load of registers
- Be a super user/champion to assist with multi-touch screen issues and troubleshooting
- Supportive role to the Stock Controller in monthly stock takes to achieve hospital variance targets
- Supportive role regarding stock variance reports in collaboration with Unit Manager and Stock Controller to achieve stock targets
- Theatre bookings management.
- Any other tasks that the Unit Manager may deem necessary.
Requirements
- Matric certificate
- Experience in billing/stock management
- Theatre Billing experience essential
- Working experience within a theatre environment/Life Healthcare hospital will be an advantage
- Knowledge of theatre stock, e-billing, Imeds and Impilo will be an advantage
- Computer Proficiency critical
- Highly developed interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
- Attention to detail
- Strong Administration skills
- Good Interpersonal skills to communicate with doctors
