MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE: Grade 12 / N3 Fitter Trade Test 3 Years’ relevant experience as Artisan Fitter High Voltage trained and relevant experience Crusher Plant experience (Advantage) Conveyor belt experience (Safety devices) Knowledge of general electrical distribution in plants and buildings Transformer maintenance experience Knowledge of air compressor Knowledge of VSD’s and soft starters (Danfoss) Knowledge of MA relays (NEW-ELEC) Knowledge of PLC’s (Allen Bradley) Fault finding on electrical circuits 220v, 380v and 6.6Kv Must have own tools Must have own transport BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES Safety Leadership Innovation Planning, Organising & Control Results Orientation Problem Solving & Decision Making Relating & Networking Change Leadership Business Acumen SELECTION PROCEDURE: Panel Interviews Assessments Samancor Chrome shall apply the Employment Equity Principles as set out in the company’s Employment Equity Policy.
