- To analyse the technical specifications to identify the business requirements.
- To prepare and execute test cases.
Qualifications (Minimum)
- Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational
- Software Testing - Foundation Level through the International Software Testing Qualification Board (ISTQB)
Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)
- A relevant tertiary qualification in Software Testing or Information Technology
Experience
Min
- No less than 2-3 years' proven formal experience in QA testing within a similar environment
- Front-end testing experience
Ideal (nice to have)
- Banking IT system exposure
- Experience in Integration, Regression, Automation and Non-Functional testing
- Exposure to testing tools
- Release management exposure
- Experience testing on a mobile app / different types of devices (e.g., iOS, Android, Huawei, etc.)

- Detailed knowledge of:
- The full IT project lifecycle (SDLC)
- Formal testing practices
- Software and hardware testing

- Application of test tools
