A well-established and leading plastic injection moulding company based in Germiston is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Temporary Office Assistant (HR) to provide administrative support to the Human Resources Department.
This opportunity is ideally suited to an HR student who is eager to gain practical workplace experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the HR team, assisting with a variety of administrative functions while developing valuable knowledge and hands-on experience in Human Resources.
Duties & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to
- Assisting the HR Department with general administrative duties.
- Filing, scanning, photocopying, and maintaining employee records.
- Capturing employee information on HR systems and spreadsheets.
- Assisting with the preparation of HR documentation.
- Updating and maintaining personnel files.
- Monitoring and maintaining HR filing systems.
- Assisting with leave administration and attendance records.
- Assisting with data capturing and reporting.
- Performing general office administration duties.
- Maintaining confidentiality of employee and company information at all times.
- Providing support to the HR Team as required.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 (Matric).
- Currently studying towards a qualification in Human Resources, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous administrative experience will be advantageous but is not essential.
- Must be eager to learn and gain practical HR experience.
- Reliable transport will be advantageous.
