Temporary General Workers â?? Retail Warehouse

A busy retail warehouse based in Montague Gardens is seeking reliable and hardworking General Workers for temporary assignments. The successful candidates will be responsible for accurately picking, packing and scanning retail merchandise, preparing orders for dispatch and assisting with general warehouse operations. Previous warehouse experience and the ability to use handheld scanners are essential. Candidates must be physically fit, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and available to start immediately.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Pick retail merchandise according to order requirements.
• Pack customer orders accurately.
• Use handheld scanners to scan products and orders.
• Verify stock quantities and product information.
• Prepare merchandise for dispatch.
• Assist with receiving and sorting stock.
• Move stock to designated warehouse locations.
• Assist with stock counts and inventory checks.
• Identify and report damaged or incorrect stock.
• Assist with loading and unloading where required.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness.
• Follow warehouse safety procedures.
• Meet daily picking and packing requirements.
• Follow instructions from warehouse supervisors.
• Perform general warehouse duties as required.

Minimum Requirements

• Previous picking and packing experience.
• Handheld scanner experience is essential.
• Warehouse or distribution centre experience.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual duties.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable and punctual.
• Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Able to follow instructions.
• Reliable transport to Montague Gardens.
• Available immediately.
• Willing to accept temporary assignments.

Advantageous

• Retail warehouse experience.
