- We're on the lookout for a Temp Reliever: Technical to assist the Lab in reducing overtime by providing leave/training relief.
As a Temp Reliever: Technical , you will be responsible for
- Take and hand over shift, ensuring smooth operational continuity.
- Operate process equipment in line with best operating practices and safety standards.
- Collect and prepare samples for analysis.
- Perform laboratory tests using instruments and ISO-compliant methods.
- Analyze samples to generate accurate data and report results via LIS.
- Handle special sample requests as required.
- Participate in shift activities, housekeeping, SHEQ compliance, and BBS observations.
- Support employee development by sharing knowledge and enabling skills transfer within the section.
What are we looking for?
- Matric Grade 12 with Maths & Physical Science or N3 in Pulp and Paper.
- A National Diploma in Pulp and Paper or Chemical Engineering will be advantageous.
- Minimum of 3 month's relevant experience as a Process Trainee/ Production Intern within a production or pulp and paper environment.
