WE’RE HIRING: TEMP RECONCILIATION CLERK Location: Ottery Road, Cape Town Employment Type: Temporary Industry: FMCG / Retail Start Date: Immediate or short notice A well-established FMCG and retail organisation is seeking an experienced Reconciliation Clerk to join its Finance team on a temporary basis. Key Responsibilities • Complete daily cash, banking and account reconciliations • Reconcile store deposits, receipts, tenders and financial transactions • Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies • Follow up on outstanding queries with stores and internal departments • Capture and process financial information accurately on SAP • Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation • Assist with clearing accounts and month-end reconciliations • Ensure all daily, weekly and monthly deadlines are met • Provide general finance and administrative support when required Minimum Requirements • Matric / Grade 12 • Previous reconciliation, cash office or finance administration experience • SAP experience is essential and non-negotiable • FMCG or retail experience is highly advantageous • Good Microsoft Excel skills • Strong numerical ability and attention to detail • Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet strict deadlines • Must be available to start immediately or at short notice • Must be able to travel to Ottery Road daily Please note that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
