General Maintenance & Compliance
- Perform maintenance and identify ineffciencies for corrective action;
- Maintain critical spares, consumables, and tools;
- Participate in risk assessments and SHEQ initiatives;
Installatsions & Fabrication
- Install and commission processing equipment such as pumps, agitators, piping, and mechanical structures;
- Conduct steel fabrication, ARC/TIK/Argon welding, pipe fitting, and troubleshooting;
Preventative and Breakdown Maintenance
- Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on processing plant equipment;
- Conduct fault‑finding and troubleshooting;
Documentation and SOPs
- Complete maintenance checklists, job cards, and audit documentation;
- Develop, review, and update SOPs and related documents;
Technical Knowledge and Skills
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics;
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault‑finding capabilities;
- Skilled in mechanical fitting, pump alignment, and fabrication;
- Understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics, PLC basics, and automated systems.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 (Matric);
- Trade‑tested Millwright (Red Seal);
- NQF Level 3 or higher technical qualification;
- 3–5 years’ relevant post-trade millwright experience.
