- Perform teaching duties across EMS, Geography, and Grade 10 Business Studies, including planning lessons and tracking academic growth.
- Set up, implement, monitor, and adjust term plans to accommodate exams, assessments.
- Plan and manage the classroom environment, including assessment schedules, disciplinary standards, active engagement strategies, and proactive parent-teacher communication.
- Create, moderate, and mark formal and continuous assessments, project work, case studies, and activities aligned with IEB standards.
- Support, plan, and manage school extramural activities, sports, and educational outings.
- Provide targeted extra lessons and academic support to assist learners in mastering core concepts.
Qualifications, experience and skills
- Valid, up-to-date SACE registration.
- Relevant tertiary degree and professional teaching qualification
- Bilingual: English & Afrikaans
- Willingness to contribute to the broader life of the school, including co-curricular commitments and weekend activities.
- Familiarity with the IEB curriculum framework is preferred.
- Strong subject knowledge in SNR EMS, SNR Geography and FET Business Studies.
- Proven ability to guide Grade 10 learners through foundational Business Studies concepts and practical business reporting.
- Proficiency in modern educational technology and Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and administrative skills.
- Clear criminal record.
