We are recruiting for a Temp Accountant on a 6 month contractual basis (Maternity cover) for our client, who is in the Financial services space. The Accountant is responsible for providing financial, administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations. Duties & Responsibilities
- Data capturing and processing of accounting records (cashbooks, bank reconciliations, debtors, creditors procurement)
- Monthly reconciliations
- Payments and reporting thereof
- Filing
- Preparing monthly reports
- Preparing year-end adjustments
- Assisting with administrative and clerical tasks
- Tracking and managing accounts receivable and accounts payable
- Ad hoc duties as and when required
