Area of specialization: To ensure that the secondary plant is operated and maintained in a safe and effective manner in order that a continuity of supply is sustained or enhanced and that regional and organisational objectives are met. Division: National Transmission Company South Africa Position/Task Grade: T11 Department: Secondary Plant Business Unit: North East Grid Location: Mpumalanga, Middleburg CLN Duties & Responsibilities

Knowledge • Technical knowledge and analytical skills to diagnose problems in electrical equipment or systems and develop appropriate solutions • Basic understanding of Secondary Plant Systems • Knowledge of the Transmission Network, Plant and equipment • Stress management • Investigation procedures • Interpersonal relations • Knowledge of Eskom's procedures & Standards • Knowledge of Eskom's business & financial procedures • Knowledge of statutory/legislative requirements • ORHVS
Skills • Leadership Skills • Computer/ Operational Technology (OT) skills • Negotiation skills • Communication skills • Drivers Licence • Usage of Fall arrest equipment
Key Responsibilities • Contributes to integrity of the data base. • Provides technical service. • Standardized outputs, Performance enhancement and fault investigations. • SHEQ Compliance. • Training and Emergency Preparedness.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Qualification(s): • National Diploma / National N Diploma Electrical at NQF 6 with 240 Credits
Experience: • P1 P2 Technical experience
