- We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team, where you will focus on maintaining and repairing equipment and systems within our operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our technical infrastructure runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a range of technical equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose faults and malfunctions using appropriate testing equipment to identify the root causes of issues.
- Integrate and install new equipment and systems according to given specifications and safety standards.
- Collaborate with other team members to troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions.
- Maintain detailed records of service performed, including insights gained from repairs and maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards throughout all operational processes.
- Provide technical support and training to team members as needed to enhance their understanding of equipment functionality.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements to continuously improve skills and knowledge related to technical operations.
Requirements
- Demonstrable experience in a technician role or similar capacity, with a strong understanding of technical maintenance and repair procedures.
- Proficient in using diagnostic tools and testing equipment relevant to the specific technical field.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey technical information to team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- A valid driver's license and the ability to travel to various sites as necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Technical diploma or certification in a relevant field e.g., electronics, mechanical systems, etc..
- Experience in specialised areas such as HVAC, electrical systems, or IT support.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and industry regulations to uphold compliance and safety standards.
- Familiarity with modern technologies and systems relevant to our operational needs.
