- We are seeking a skilled Technician to join our team, focusing on maintaining and troubleshooting equipment and systems. In this role, you will be essential in ensuring operational efficiency and supporting our technical processes, making it an ideal position for candidates looking to enhance their technical expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve system performance and reliability.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and inventory.
- Assist in the installation and configuration of new systems and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations while working on equipment.
- Provide training and support to junior team members as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements relevant to the technology used in the field.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Technician or in a similar technical role.
- Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and/or electronic systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work methodically under pressure.
- Proficiency in using relevant tools and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in a related technical field e.g., engineering, electronics, maintenance.
- Experience with preventative maintenance practices and methodologies.
- Knowledge of industry-specific software and applications.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and practices within the technical field.
