Start free — we apply for you →KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Responsible for training the plastics technician apprentices Plan and develop training calendar including on-the-job-training Integrate Austrian topics and SA curriculum modules into one training plan Develop and review training material and documents Plan, develop and implement lesson plans Coordinate and conduct facilitation for apprentices Prepare classrooms and workshop for training Provide training on key practical and personal skills Give theory lessons in plastic processing, material science, etc. Plan and prepare apprentices for assessments as required Monthly reporting on programme progress, competency evaluations and feedback Ensure all safety aspects are adhered to for Plant and Training workshop Responsible for the availability and maintenance of all machines and equipment Preventative maintenance on all machines in the Training workshop Ensure availability and readiness of machines and equipment Manage and monitor Apprentices logbooks Collaborate with Plant technical personnel on developments in technology to remain relevant Maintain regular communication with the Plant mentors Ensure and maintain compliance with Austrian Final Exam requirements Ensure compliance to QCTO quality standards and processes are upheld. Maintain regular update of databases in the Learner Management System Based on the Business Process Management (BPM) processes the job holder is responsible for: S6 (Assure product conformity) S6.3 Responsible to comply with all Hygiene requirements in the plant. S6.2 Support complaint handling by reporting all identified non-conformities and support in the implementation of effective corrective actions determined by the process owner, when needed. S10 (Ensure occupational health, safety and environment) Ensure that HSE compliance in own area of responsibility. Report any incident or unsafe conditions seen in the plant/ work area.
