Introduction

Job Requirements

The Masc Solutions Specialist is responsible for designing, advising and overseeing the implementation of integrated electronic security and fire detection system solutions. This role requires extensive technical knowledge of security system installations including CCTV, Access Control, Fire Detection, Intrusion Detection, Electric Fencing and associated technologies. The incumbent will ensure optimal product selection to meet client requirements while delivering sustainable, cost-effective solutions. The role also includes managing high service standards, implementing installation processes, overseeing projects of varying scale and acting as a trusted technical advisor to clients, sales and operational teams.

Role Purpose: To design, implement, oversee and optimise integrated security technology solutions ensuring technical excellence, cost efficiency, regulatory compliance and superior client satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments and technical evaluations to determine appropriate security solutions.

• Design integrated electronic security & fire detection system solutions, aligned to client needs and industry standards.

• Select suitable products and technologies ensuring sustainability and cost efficiency.

• Provide technical support and advisory services to sales, operations and clients.

• Develop and implement standardized installation processes and best practices.

• Oversee small, medium and large-scale security system installations.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.

• Manage customer relationships and ensure high levels of client satisfaction.

• Troubleshoot system issues and provide advanced technical problem resolution.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to product offerings.

• Drive cost efficiencies through optimized system design and installation processes.

• Prepare technical documentation, reports and handover documentation.

• Successful delivery of projects within agreed timelines and budgets.

• Reduction in installation errors and rework percentages.

• Customer satisfaction ratings and client retention levels.

• Achievement of cost-saving targets through efficient system design.

• Compliance with installation standards and regulatory requirements.

• Number of technical escalations resolved within SLA.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Minimum 5+ years in electronic security & fire detection system design and installations.

• Advanced knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, Fire Detection, Intrusion Detection, Electric Fencing.

• Strong project management capability.

• Excellent stakeholder engagement and leadership skills.

• Valid driver’s license.

• Fire Detection - SAQCC (Advantageous)
