Technical Solutions Specialist (non IT) Safety & Security

Introduction

This is a senior Non-IT technical role, within safety and security,  responsible for designing, advising, implementing, and optimising integrated security technology solutions across a wide range of client environments.

The successful candidate will act as a trusted technical authority, providing strategic guidance to clients while ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of quality, compliance, and operational excellence

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments and technical evaluations.

• Design integrated security and fire detection solutions aligned to client requirements.

• Develop system schematics, technical specifications, and bills of quantities.

• Select appropriate technologies and products to deliver sustainable and cost-effective solutions.

• Provide technical leadership to clients, sales teams, and operational departments.

• Oversee small, medium, and enterprise-scale installations.

• Drive installation standards, quality control, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

• Serve as the escalation point for complex technical challenges.

• Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions

Desired Experience & Qualification

Required Experience & Expertise

A specialist with substantial experience in the design and implementation of multiple integrated security technologies, including:

• CCTV Systems

• Access Control Systems

• Fire Detection Systems

• Intrusion Detection Systems

• Electric Fencing Solutions

• Integrated Security Platforms

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record delivering technically complex projects from concept through commissioning and handover

Minimum Requirements

• 5+ years' experience in electronic security systems design and installations.

• Advanced knowledge of integrated security technologies.

• Strong project management and project delivery capability.

• Experience developing technical solutions and customer proposals.

• Ability to manage stakeholders at operational and executive level.

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

• Relevant technical qualifications and industry certifications.

• Valid driver's licence.
