The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware and software issues, overseeing equipment installation and commissioning, monitoring product performance, and gathering customer feedback to support continuous product and service improvement. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive electronic systems, telematics technologies, and commercial vehicle environments. The ideal candidate will act as a key link between customers, technical teams, and internal stakeholders to ensure effective problem resolution and sustainable business growth. Develop effective technical solutions and contribute to the creation and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs). Respond to and resolve on-site technical issues efficiently, ensuring accurate data collection and analysis to support ongoing product and service improvements. Support equipment installation, configuration, commissioning, and system deployment to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. Conduct customer follow-ups and monitor product usage to identify common challenges, technical concerns, and opportunities for improvement. Collect, analyse, and communicate customer feedback and technical insights to relevant internal teams to support product development and continuous improvement. Manage and support after-sales operations, contribute to process optimisation, and promote consistent and standardised service delivery. Monitor product and system performance to ensure stable operation and coordinate the resolution of operational or technical issues. Maintain effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders, ensuring technical matters are managed professionally and efficiently. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as reasonably assigned by management. Minimum Requirements Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent qualification. Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited institution in Automotive Engineering, Electronics and Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related technical field. 5–10 years of relevant work experience, including at least 3 years within the automotive, telematics, connected vehicle, or related technology industry. Strong understanding of automotive electronic and electrical systems. Proficiency in vehicle CAN protocols, including hands-on experience capturing and analysing CAN messages. Proven ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to commercial vehicle electronic control systems. Previous experience providing technical after-sales support. Experience with telematics units, vehicle tracking devices, dash cameras, or other automotive electronic systems will be advantageous. Valid Code 8 driver's licence.
