Technical Sales Representative

Minimum Requirements: Minimum 3 years' external technical sales experience Proven track record in new business development and achieving sales targets Experience selling into the industrial, engineering, mining or heavy machinery sectors Strong technical aptitude with the ability to understand product specifications and recommend solutions Excellent cold calling, negotiation and account management skills Well-presented with strong communication and relationship-building abilities Self-motivated and able to work independently Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle

Key Responsibilities: Generate new business through active prospecting and cold calling Build and maintain long-term customer relationships Conduct client visits and identify technical sales opportunities Prepare quotations and commercial proposals Negotiate contracts and close sales Manage and grow existing customer accounts Achieve monthly sales targets and business growth objectives Monitor market trends and competitor activity Provide regular sales forecasts and pipeline reports Travel extensively throughout Gauteng to service clients
