- Hunt for new business and grow existing accounts
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Visit clients and identify sales opportunities
- Prepare and follow up on quotations
- Recommend the correct technical solution for customer requirements
- Achieve monthly sales and GP targets
- Negotiate pricing in line with company guidelines
- Work closely with the internal sales and service teams
- Keep CRM and sales reports up to date
- Represent the company professionally at all times
Minimum requirements
- Matric
- Technical qualification or engineering background
- Minimum 4-5 years' experience
- Ability to lead a team
- Must be willing to be hands-on
- External sales/business development experience
- Strong relationship-building skills
- Willingness and ability to travel within Africa
